Ivan Beach, e-mail, 05.03.2011 22:27 I currenlty fly the Saab 2000 out of our base in Concord, NC. This excellent aircraft is highly fuel efficient, very quiet, vibration free, and has excellent balanced field length characteriscs and power. She burns about 1800 pph at cruise with a TAS of 365 Kts and climb to a service ceiling of 31,000 feet. The engines and props are FADEC controlled. Overall excellent machine to operate but she has very stiff, mechanical ailerons as opposed to the rest of the controls which are fly by wire.
