Founded 1937 to build light aircraft. Financed by a large Danish industrial concern; took over aircraft business formerly conducted by Kramme & Zeuthen, builders of KZI light single-seat monoplane. Prefix KZ retained for KZII two-seat trainer, supplied to Danish Air Force; KZIII and VII four-seat cabin monoplanes; KZVIII aerobatic monoplane, and KZX artillery observation type. In mid-1950s turned increasingly to repair and maintenance of military aircraft, and aircraft production had ended by late 1950s.
