Founded December 1997 as a division of the Raytheon Company, following its merger with Hughes Defense. Also incorporates Raytheon Electronic Systems, Raytheon Tl Systems, and Raytheon E-Systems. Wide range of diverse programs include development of the HISAR integrated surveillance and reconnaissance system, as first demonstrated on a Beech King Air B200T, and an airborne early warning and control aircraft based on the Airbus A310 using Israeli Phalcon electronically scanned phased arrays housed in a non-rotating over-fuselage radome.
