Lockheed Martin Aircraft Argentina SA began management of FMA on 1 July 1995, under the Argentine Government's privatization program. Contracts with LMAASA covered management of the aircraft factory, a 25-year concession on the maintenance depot at Cordoba, the refurbishment and modernization of 36 ex-U.S. Navy A- 4M Skyhawks into A-4AR Fightinghawks, and aircraft maintenance for the Argentine Air Force for five years.
