A former partner in Martin & Handasyde Ltd., George
Handasyde set up his own company at war's end and constructed
a glider for the Daily Mail's 1922 Itford Meeting.
For the Lympne Motor Glider Competition in 1923 he produced
a small powered monoplane which was built by the
Air Navigation & Engineering Company. In 1929 Handasyde
joined the Desoutter Aircraft Company as general manager.
