Rights to light aircraft range sold to American General Aircraft
Corporation 1989. Gulfstream IV twin-turbofan
long-range business jet first flown September 1985 and
remains in production, together with various special-purpose
variants including the SRA-4 for mainly military roles
including electronic warfare, search and rescue, anti-submarine/
ship, and communications. New Gulfstream V
global business jet first flew November 1995; also forms
the platform for an ASTOR contender under Lockheed
Martin leadership.
