With Robert E. Fulton Jr. as president, company was formed 1945 at Danbury, Connecticut. Prototype Airphibian flew November 7,1946, a two-seat "roadable"aircraft, with tricycle landing gear, detachable wings/tail/rear fuselage. Certificated December 1950 as Fulton Model FA-2 Airphibian; production model, designated FA-3, appeared 1954. Back to the letter C
