Established 1982, following the purchase of the assets of New Zealand Aerospace Industries (q.v.). Currently markets the CT/4E Airtrainer two/three-seat training lightplane (first flown 1972 in original form, and 1991 in present CT/4E form); piston-engined FU24-954 Fletcher suited to agricultural, firefighting, and many other utility roles, or for carrying six/eight passengers when using optional passenger kit, or two stretchers and two sitting casualties in an air-ambulance role (first flown 1954); and CR-750 Cresco turboprop development of the FU24 (first flown 1979). Company also manufactures components/assemblies for Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
