| It was very un-MiG like. Light high-wing canard monoplane with pusher propeller, built of wood with fabric cover, built to study behavior of the swept wing at low speed.
Aircraft was flown in two variants, differed by location of rudders. Test pilots A.I.Zhukov and A.N.Grinchik flew it in the end of 1945. Amazingly, it performed well without any modifications - quite unusual for canard scheme.

This Mig 8 is very beautiful and unique plane.I decided to make it (1:3) and I almost made fuselage, but I had problem with mesuring. I do all the work from sketches, so I have difficulties doing this plane. Do you have any measures (angles or any other dimensions) for this plane? If you do, could you please send it to my E-mail.
