Barry, 01.03.2016 12:24 First flown on 3rd July 1933,and with the test programme completed by that September this behemoth showed disappointing results with the two mounted engines performing badly and the wing mounted engines having a considerable amount of power absorbed by the two meter thick wing. The original concept was that speed would not be a major consideration as it would have sufficient armament to look after itself -as if! Only one was produced. reply | Dalhats Laudzafata Avicena, e-mail, 07.10.2013 10:06 This aircraft were bigger than boeing B-29. reply | Dalhats, e-mail, 17.08.2013 15:23 If this aircraft is into operational this aircraft well be the largest bomber aircraft until the B-36 arrive. reply | Sgt.KAR98, 26.05.2010 02:33 Maybe one on the tail too. reply |
| Art Deco, 18.07.2009 00:55 Still not as funny as the British Tarrant Tabor. At least it flew, da? reply | Gristiaan, e-mail, 17.07.2009 23:32 "Vasili! I can't put more engines in wings!" "Is not problem! Put engines on top, da?" reply |
