| Used in substantial numbers by the Luftwaffe as a light communications aircraft and crew trainer, the Siebel Si 204 was essentially a scaled-up Fh 104. Two versions were produced, the Si 104A and Si 104D, the first of these flying in 1941. The Si 204A was intended as a feederliner for Lufthansa, but only a few had been produced before production switched to the militarized Si 204D. The majority
of these were built at the Hanriot factory in France and the Aero factory in Czechoslovakia, and production continued in both countries for several years after World War II.
