Barry, 19.05.2016 12:54 Originally designated C II the designation was changed to CL II to fall in line with the "Idfleig" requirement for a light type C fighter for the "Luftstreitkrafte", which would be used to escort reconnaissance aircraft. The so called "Schutzstaffeln" or protection flights. The first flight was in 1917 and Halberstadt produced some 700, a further 200 were manufactured in 1918 by Bayerische Flugzerke Werke (BFW). Post war ex German machines were flown by both the Lithuanian Air Force and the Polish Air Force. In fact the last surviving example, the personal mount of General Ernst von Hoeppner, is in the Polish Aviation Museum Cracow (Kracow). reply | kuaican, 20.06.2011 06:49 Hi, I'm looking for some maufacturing drawing for the Halberstadt D.V.
