| A second prototype of the Grognard, the SE.2415 Grognard II, flew in February 1951. A two-seater, it was damaged in a belly landing. The definitive production version would have been the SE.2418, which was
to have been powered by Rolls-Royce Tay turbojets, but the SO Vautour was selected to meet the Armee de l'Air's ground-attack requirement instead.

Darryll V. Wilcox, e-mail, 13.05.2011 20:52 I am also starting a 1 /48 scale model of this aircraft, probably same kit as RGDS mentioned. I don't think there are any other kits.
Do you know where I can get any pictures, especially coloured pictures of this plane? It sure would help as pertains the models accuracy.
Thanks,
Darryll V. reply | Thierry Romain, e-mail, 09.11.2007 22:10 Good evening,
I'm building a 1 /48 scale model of the SE2415 in plastic, and I have great difficulties finding good documents (detailed pictures) of the real aircraft.
Any chance you could provide me with some ?
I'll make pictures of the model once finished and I'll mail them over to you.
