Barry, 12.05.2016 17:56 Roland Payen designed this wooden built aircraft and it first flew on 22nd January 1954. Payen had long been an advocate of tail less research going back to before the war. The Pa.49 was retired from flight in 1958 and is currently housed in the Musee de l'Air at Le Bourget.
