| The F.3 was a development of the F.2A, with some of the former aircraft's agility being sacrificed for longer range and heavier bomb load. Approximately the same number of F.3s were built as the slightly smaller F.2As, but served in the Mediterranean as well as. from British stations. Post-war deliveries to the RAF were made as the F.5 and this became the standard reconnaissance type for several years, but was inferior to both the F.2A and F.3.

Yours, Richard Gibbons reply | | Franco, e-mail, 09.05.2008 00:20 I am the proud owner of a propeller that belonged to a Felixstowe F.3 anti-submarine flying boat which i believe was one of the 23 planes built by the Malta Dockyard for the RAF. I would like to know if you would be in a position to give me more information about the original plane should I email you the markings ( G -907-82 ) found on this propeller which is dated November 1918 and its related History.
