| A three-view drawing (1302 x 1176) |
Graham Summers, e-mail, 14.09.2014 19:05 Alan Yendle, flyby13=sbcglobal.net, in answer to your question, the three view GA drawing represents there N.10 as it originally first flew. N.10 was bought back by Fairey, from the AIr Ministry in 1919 and was later modified to the single bay configuration as seen in the pics, with a reduced span, to take part in the Schneider Trophy race of 1919 reply | Brian Johnston, e-mail, 28.07.2012 12:54 According to the CAA Database G-EALQ is a Fairey III serial No. F.128. Now that is either a huge coincidence or a mistake as well, since the Fairey III was derived from the F.128 prototype!! reply | Alan Yendle, e-mail, 28.04.2011 04:55 Something odd here. The photo shows a single bay biplane, the three view drawings show a two bay biplane. Which is correct? reply |
