Willie Gardner, e-mail, 09.01.2010 06:20 This message is for Kevin Rachow (goldnp@bigpond.com)You can obtain 1 /4 scale plans from New Zealand Aero Products 34 Ward Parade, Stirling Point, Bluff, New Zealand. I was his first customer in 1990. The maiden flight was in 1996. Flew like a Taylor Cub. A beautiful plane. Was shown on Flying Models cover in 1996 or 97. reply | L Mason, e-mail, 11.09.2009 03:00 Having operated one of these in New Zealand i found it an outstanding Ag Aircraft and could do very well in one even in todays financial climate reply | Ljuba, e-mail, 18.08.2009 23:07 Airworthy PL-12 Airtruk for sale, airplane is located in Serbia. | JOE, e-mail, 29.04.2008 00:41 I flew the aircraft out of the strip by the factory at Seven Hills, N.S.W., Aust. in the 1970's. The factory director was Gilbert Forrester a friend of mine and I was flying trips to Sydney for PAA at the time. Asked if I could fly it around, he said it's over there and fueled go take it out. I took it out for about an hour, very easy to fly, fantastic control respoonces, slow flight at 40 very stable. Came back and landed , stable on approach and touch down, taxied back, parked, that was it. I think it would have wiped piper off the map, but think piper got. the FAA from certifing it in the states at Woodland Airport, Ca. from a fixed wing operator who wanted to import them. So can't bring them back to the states, except as an Expermintal non-com. aircraft!! reply | kevin rachow, e-mail, 25.01.2008 06:06 hi! i am a disable male also make model aircrafts.would it be possible to obtain a copy of the plan of the transavia pl12u airtruck?

Any help would be great. reply | Rick, e-mail, 06.07.2007 16:23 My earliest flying memory's are of these planes as my dad used to be the loader driver for one of the main operators of these aircraft in NZ when I grew up. While Hamish didn't make it back from a day at work some years back (he wasn't flying an Airtruck then) his widow still has ties and contacts with the remaining aircraft. If you want try to track down Betty Ross at Rotorua airport in New Zealand reply | Max, e-mail, 17.06.2007 18:36 I would love to buy one or more if necessary of these Airtrucks and bring them back to the states and restore one to flying condition. Any suggestions?? reply |
