Brian Richard Allen, e-mail, 08.12.2013 00:11 Flew Ceres for Les Ward at Cootamundra in the 1970s. Great little aeroplane and maybe the best spray-platform there ever was! reply | Ben Dannecker, e-mail, 19.02.2012 11:31 Ladies & Gentlemen,
You are welcome to reproduce my "From the Cockpit" report on the CA28 Ceres if you wish. Can email the text to you on request.
Regards.

| Mal, e-mail, 17.03.2011 03:55 I thought it was the summer of 1957!! All of the test flying was out of the Fishermans Bend Aerodrome, And Ron Goon was the test pilot. It was very nice to see and hear at low level down at that end on the Yarra River. reply |
Isaac, e-mail, 17.10.2010 00:55 Thank you M. Simspson! I was wondering what this aircraft was built for, and crop-dusting was probably one of my top thoughts. reply | M. Simpson, e-mail, 15.10.2010 04:37 The CA-28 agricultural aircraft was designed around components of the wartime Wirraway. It first flew in the southern summer of 1958. Basically a single-seater, it also had a rear-facing seat behind the pilot for ferrying. There was a 40 cu.ft. hopper forward of the pilot. No hydraulic or electrical systems; leading edge slats; manually operated flaps. 14 a /c registered in Oz, 5 in NZ in the early 1960's. One 600h.p. P&W R-1340. reply |
